Robert Lloyd has been a Seventh-day Adventist pastor since 1971 and has served the Kailua Church for the past nineteen years. In addition to his duties as pastor of the Kailua Church he is also the Executive Secretary and Ministerial Director of the Hawaii Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. He has traveled in over 80 countries and preached in five continents. Since 2001 he has been affiliated with ShareHim and has either preached or coordinated numerous evangelistic campaigns in third world countries.
Rob attended Walla Walla University, graduating with a major in Theology and minors in Biblical Languages and History. He earned graduate degrees in Divinity and Public Health from Andrews University Theological Seminary and Loma Linda University respectively, graduating with high honors. He also did graduate work in Social Science Statistics from the University of California, Irvine and post-graduate studies in the Doctor of the Science of Theology program at the San Francisco Theological Seminary.
He is married to Margaret Harder Lloyd who is Director of Music Ministries at Central Union Church in Honolulu. Margaret is the co-owner of Bella Arte, specializing in European and Russian art of the 20th century. She also is widely traveled and especially loves spending time in Italy. Music, art, languages, travel, photography and architecture are all areas of interest to her. Within the last two years a new interest has risen to the top -- being a grandmother.
The five Lloyd children are Jeremy, Micah, Giana, Oksana and Shavana. Between them they have four very beautiful children: Barrett (Jeremy & Heather), Azure, Cora (Micah and Dina) and Kaikane (Giana.)
