What do the greeters do?
In the Greeting Team, we’re all about making sure every person who walks through the doors feels seen and welcomed. Positioned right outside the church entrance, we’re there before and during the service to greet each person with a warm smile and a lei for new visitors.
Our goal is to create a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels like family, whether it’s a first-time guest or a familiar face. Greeters also hand out bulletins, helping people feel connected and informed as they enter the service. It’s a simple yet powerful way to extend kindness and make everyone feel they belong.
