What does volunteering for potluck look like?
Being part of the Potluck Team means creating a welcoming atmosphere through serving food and fostering connection. The team gathers at the regular time for church, but partway through the service, they step away to start setting up. Tasks vary each time, from organizing dishes and plating meals to setting up serving stations and cleaning up once everyone has eaten.
With multiple teams rotating, there’s always a chance to work alongside different people who share a heart for service. The focus is on ensuring there’s enough food for everyone, with team members bringing dishes that are hearty, filling, and welcoming. It’s more than just food — it’s about creating a space where people feel connected and cared for around the table.
